Susan is a New York State
licensed psychotherapist (LCSW-R) and
Registered Nurse (R.N.) with more than 35 years of
experience. She currently works as an Addiction
Nurse at a detox/rehab facility in New York and has
over 10 years of experience in Addiction as an RN.
A longtime resident of the North Fork, Susan holds a
B.A. from Hunter College of CUNY, a Masters Degree
in Social Work from Wurzweiller School of Social
Work at Yeshiva University, and an A.S.A. and R.N.
degree from Suffolk Community College. She also has
two years of post-graduate training in structural
family therapy from Dr. Salvador Minuchin.
Starting out as a social worker and then private
practitioner in Brooklyn, Susan brought her desire
to heal individuals and communities with her to the
North Fork nearly three decades ago.
From serving psychiatric emergency clinic patients
to counseling families through transitions, the
scope of Susan’s practice spans across many areas.
